Game Overview

La Femme de Résistance puts the player into the role of 'Dures', a key member of the French Resistance during the German Occupation in World War II. The player role is to sabotage and undermine the German occupation of Paris, trying to force the Germans out of the city and therefore creating an example for the whole of France.

La Femme de Résistance focuses not just on the battlefield, but on the uneasy everyday relationships between the occupying force and the oppressed citizens. Eschewing the traditional ‘good versus evil’ of most wartime games, the game showcases both the French and German soldiers on a personal level, with their own conscience, loyalties, needs and wants. The player can choose their own mixture of gun-toting action, stealth, and manipulative diplomacy of both sides to meet their goals.

Team Resistance

“La Femme de Résistance” is a game design created by Team Resistance, a group of five talented games developers. The design was originally conceived during Ernest Adam’s Gameplay Workshop at Fuse ’04, the inaugural New Zealand Games Developer’s Conference in June 2004. Out of the eight concepts presented, ours was judged the best of the day. The game design now has evolved into what you see before you. Viva la résistance!

Aside from adding a few links, I capatalised a few of the titles that needed it, such as Internal Economy, Mission Mode. I also updated the old links that went to the non-capitalised version. I THINK I got all of them!
