EXAMPLE MISSIONS
Objective: Disable the Nazi munitions train while it stop in Paris for 40 minutes, and acquire weapons for the Chien Noir resistance cell.
Loss Condition: The train leaves the station, with the munitions still on board.
Unique Point: This is a tutorial mission on the basics of stealth and action. Action oriented players will find and use bombs to destroy the trains engine, while stealth players will steal the weapons without the enemy knowing what had happened.
Objective: Uncover the mole from within the Chien Noir resistance cell. Could it really be Philippe, Dures’ son? Meeting in a café, this is a narrative-based mission, where you must distract Philippe in order to go through his satchel and uncover the incriminating evidence.
Loss Condition: Philippe catches you in the act of snooping on him, or the player fails to uncover the evidence before Philippe’s immanent betrayal.
Unique Point: This is a story-based mission where a shocking narrative twist is uncovered: Philippe is really a double agent working for the German occupation forces. How can a mother deal with a traitor son?
Objective: lead the Chien Noir resistance cell to victory in a full-on war over possession of the Latin Quarter of Paris. This concludes chapter 3, and is a vital battle in the struggle for French Independence.
Loss Condition: Chien Noir loses the fight.
Unique Point: The size of the enemy force depends largely upon the diplomatic options taken earlier. If Dures is close to certain German Officers, she can ask them to abstain from the battle, or even to get the German Troops to fight on the resistance side.
